How to set priority

Choose which volume discount takes precedence when a purchase qualifies for multiple rules.

1. Open Set priority

Go to Pricing Management Volume Discount, then select Set priority above the rules list.

The Priority column shows each rule’s current position. 0 is the highest priority; lower numbers are considered first.

2. Arrange your rules

Use the up and down arrows beside a rule, or drag its handle, to move it. Place the rule you want to take precedence at the top.

The example shows:

  • volume discount 10% at priority 0.
  • volume discount 20% at priority 1.

If a purchase qualifies for both rules and their discount ranges, the 10% rule takes precedence in this order. A larger discount does not automatically take priority. To prefer the 20% rule, move it above the 10% rule.

Priority does not change eligibility. The rule must still be Active, within its schedule, and match the customer, products, market, and discount range.

3. Save the order

Click Apply to save your changes, or Cancel to keep the existing order.

This order applies to Volume Discount rules. Use Settings to manage priority between different pricing modules.
